President/CEO

Established W.P. Malone, Inc. in 1975, a company now consisting of 19 pharmacies throughout the State of Arkansas. Served in the Arkansas Senate representing the 26th Senate District, which included all of Clark, Dallas, and Nevada Counties, and parts of Columbia and Ouachita Counties. Served as Chairman of the Senate Public Health, Welfare and Labor Committee, Chairman of the Administrative Rules and Regulations Committee and Chairman of the Task Force on Abused and Neglected Children. He also served as State Representative for House District 36 from 1995 to 1999, which included parts of Clark and Nevada Counties. Very strong community involvement including Board of Directors of the Arkadelphia Chamber of Commerce, as a delegate to Arkansas’s Constitutional Convention in 1980, and a Past President board member of the State Board of Pharmacy. Civic service includes serving as president of the Clark County Industrial Council, the Arkadelphia Chamber of Commerce and the Arkansas Business Education Alliance.
