Chief of Pharmacy Services

Served as Chief of Pharmacy Services for the Arkansas Department of Corrections from 1991 through 2011. Credentialed and authorized by the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy to enter into collaborative practice agreements with physicians to therapeutically substitute prescription medications. Served on the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee for Arkansas Department of Corrections for 20 years. Currently serves as a Consultant Pharmacist for long-term care facilities in the State of Arkansas. 21 years experience in providing pharmacy services to HIV patients.

Roles & Responsibilities

Allcare representative to the Pharmacy & Therapeutics committee
Leads utilization management assessments and develops recommended solutions to utilization management issues
Develops and enforces established policies and procedures
Ensures pharmacy services contract requirements are met
Supervises: Correctional Pharmacy Manager and Director of Consultant Pharmacists, Formulary Management
